WHAT IS BRINE?

Brine (also called liquid de-icing salt) is a ready-to-use salt solution based on water and sodium chloride. It is delivered in IBC containers of 1000 liters.

THE DIFFERENCE IN ACTION

Solid de-icing salt needs moisture to activate. Brine works immediately after application — no activation time needed.

PREVENTIVE USE

Brine is ideal for preventive spreading: before temperatures drop, a thin salt film is applied to the road surface. Result: less product needed, faster action and less environmental impact.

WHEN SOLID DE-ICING SALT IS BETTER

In heavy snowfall or thick ice layers, solid de-icing salt is preferred. In practice, many municipalities combine both products.
