Famsalt, officially known as Fam International NV, is a Belgian family-owned company founded by Fatih Pinar in 2011. What began as a subtle interest in salt production, and the wholesaling of de-icing salts to various Belgian municipalities, quickly evolved into a growing business specialising in wholesaling a diverse range of salt products in Western Europe.

In 2023, we significantly expanded our product line to include water softener salt, reflecting our commitment to innovation and meeting our customers' evolving needs. Currently, we are excited to be developing new product lines, including culinary salt, agricultural salt, and industrial salt, to further enhance our offerings and serve a broader market.
